Who can join
The beta is invite-only and open to adults aged 18 and over. You need a valid invite code and a verified email address, and you must accept these terms when you sign up.
What BookLoop is
BookLoop helps readers in Lisbon lend and give away physical books in person. There is no shipping, and books are not bought or sold through BookLoop. BookPoints have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Your responsibilities
Follow the Community & safe meetup guidelines, describe books honestly, keep your arrangements, and return borrowed books on time. You are responsible for your own safety when meeting other readers.
Disputes and moderation
If an exchange goes wrong, you can open a dispute or report a problem in the app. An admin reviews the evidence and decides the outcome, including any BookPoints adjustment. We may hide content or suspend accounts that break the guidelines.
A beta service
The beta is a test version and may change, pause, or contain errors. Detailed rules for BookPoints, borrowing, and exchanges will be shown in the app.
