How to request deletion
Email res4cs@gmail.com from the email address linked to your BookLoop account, with the subject “BookLoop account deletion request”. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. Never send your password or verification codes.
Open exchanges
If you have a book on loan, a pending transfer, or an open dispute, it will need to be completed or resolved first. We will tell you what is outstanding and help you close it.
What is deleted
Your profile, email address, location data, and active listings are deleted or anonymised. Other readers will no longer see your profile.
What may be kept
Records of past loans, transfers, and BookPoints are kept in a form that no longer identifies you, so that other readers’ histories stay accurate. Information connected to an unresolved safety report may be kept for as long as that report requires.
How long it takes
We confirm the deletion by email, within one month of your verified request.
